We're thrilled to share that Eva Gordon Lower Elementary School had a special visitor! Pike County District 1 Supervisor and Rotary Club of McComb member, Robert Accardo, stopped by to distribute dictionaries to our 3rd-grade students. It was amazing to see our young scholars excitedly flipping through the pages and discovering new words to add to their vocabulary!
At Eva Gordon Lower Elementary School, we believe that literacy is the foundation for academic success. We're incredibly grateful to Mr. Accardo for his generosity and continued support of our school and community. Let's continue to encourage a love for reading and learning in our young eagles!
