On Tuesday, September 5, the staff of South Pike School District participated in a CRASE Training session, led by Mr. James Grimes of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. CRASE stands for Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events. This training is done annually to maintain accreditation standards set by the Mississippi Department of Education and to keep our staff informed on what to do in this particular emergency situation.
